TEKO has extended the revolutionary TEKMAG
enclosures range with three new models. These are designed for more compact
handheld electronic devices. TEKMAG enclosures are the first standard
enclosures to be manufactured in TEKNIUM, a magnesium based alloy with super
strength, ultra lightweight and high shielding characteristics.The exceptional properties of the TEKNIUM material means these enclosures are highly suitable for advanced electronics such as industrial automation, medical equipment, avionics, marine and automotive equipment.
TEKMAG enclosures are stylish and highly tactile with a modern contoured design consisting of three diecast parts: top, base and battery compartment lid. Soft-touch edge grips provide for comfortable holding while the unit is in use.
Two external dimensions are now available 6.18” x 3.89” x 1.22” and the new size 4.92” x 3.42” x 0.90”. The top sections include recessed areas 5.20” x 2.83” and 4.13” x 2.55” respectively, for fitting membrane keypads or product labels. There is also plenty of room for displays, connectors and controls
The enclosures are offered with or without a battery compartment for two or four 1.5V AA cells or 1.5V AAA cells, or one or two 9V cells. All models are supplied with a sealing gasket which is rated up to IP 67 protection class.
