Compounding Cleanroom Is USP 797 Compliant

Terra’s Compounding Cleanrooms create the ideal
environment for compounding sterile injectables and other preparation in accord
with USP 797 standards. An ISO 5 (Class 100) primary processing (buffer) area with
three HEPA filter/fan units provides a total of 1950 CFM (3315 m³/hr) of 99.99%
particle-free air (measured at 0.3 µm diameter), exceeding requirements. A
sliding clean vinyl curtain creates a separate antechamber for personnel
gowning or product staging. The mirror-finish stainless steel trim is easily
sterilized, and panels stand up to alcohol and other biocides. This cleanroom
is configured to accommodate an ISO 5 laminar flow hood (Primary Engineering
Control) inside.
