Advanced Powder Products, Inc. uses metal injection molding (MIM) and micro-MIM (µMIM) to produce precision parts for surgical, dental and implantation applications in a range of alloys, including 17-4 PH and 300 series stainless steels, F-75, MP35, and Grade 5 titanium. APP manufactures components with feature dimensions less than 0.030 inches, tolerances of ±0.3% and surface finishes less than <10 microinches. Through advanced manufacturing approaches, APP’s µMIM technology takes this process to the next level, achieving features sizes down to 0.001 inches, and individual device masses as low as 0.015 grams.
