LISTED UNDER:

Supertex introduced HV2808, a 32-channel, high voltage, analog switch IC designed for use in medical ultrasound imaging systems as a probe selection device. It is positioned to replace the typical electromechanical relays performing the probe selection function and takes up less printed circuit board (PCB) area, emits no audible noise and increases system reliability, according to the company. HV2808 serves as a 16-pole, double throw (16PDT), high voltage switch array. Using the company’s HVCMOS technology, the IC controls analog signals with low power CMOS logic and high voltage bilateral DMOS switches. It features a low quiescent current of 10 uA for low heat dissipation and a DC analog signal frequency to 50 MHz for wide bandwidth response for any type of ultrasound probe. HV2808 is available in a 56-lead QFN package (HV2808K6-G).
