Wall Industries, Inc. broadens its product offering with the DH50 series, the latest generation of high performance DC/DC power converters setting a new standard concerning power density. This series delivers 50 Watts of continuous output power in an encapsulated, shielded metal package measuring just 2.0 x 1.0 x 0.4 inches. The DH50 series consists of 3.3V, 5V, 12V, and 15VDC precisely regulated single output models that operate over 2:1 input voltage ranges of 9-18VDC, 18-36VDC, and 36-75VDC. Advanced circuit topology provides a very high efficiency up to 92% and an operating temperature range of -40°C to +80°C. Further features include remote on/off control, trimmable output voltage, under-voltage lockout, and 1500VDC I/O isolation.

The DH50 series of DC/DC power converters has no minimum load requirements and an MTBF rating of 227,100 hours using MIL-HDBK-217F at 25°C, ground benign. These converters are protected against short circuit, over voltage, over load, and over temperature conditions. The DH50 series is ideal for use in battery operated equipment, instrumentation, distributed power architectures in communication and industrial electronics and many other space critical applications. All models in the DH50 series are RoHS compliant and have UL/cUL 60950-1 and IEC/EN 60950-1 safety approvals pending.
