Crescent manufactures precision Swiss screw machined components as finished product or as inserts for the insert molding process in low or high volumes. We produce tight tolerance and high surface finished components in various materials, configurations and sizes.
We work closely with our customers to fulfill their clean room assembly and packaging requirements by offering design services and custom fixture building to aid in the assembly process. We perform simple to complex operations depending on our customers' requirements examples of assembly procedures include ultra sonic welding, UV bonding, adhesive bonding and heat staking. Our packaging experience is in a wide variety of products and kits for the medical, pharmaceutical and dental markets. Our packaging procedures include vacuum heat sealing, Tyvek lid sealing header and polybag sealing, vacuum formed tray packaging, security and tamper evident seals and other customer specific requirements.
Crescent Industries molds a comprehensive range of engineered and commodity resins for the medical, pharmaceutical, and dental industries. Injection molding processes performed to produce a variety of custom components include over molding, insert molding, family molding, and clean room molding utilizing scientific injection molding principles as well as hydraulic and electric injection molding machines boht horizontal and vertical/vertical. Our sizes range from 35 to 384 tons with shot sizes from .25 to 42.4 ounces.
Our medical molding division, Crescent Medical Plastics, operates under ISO 13485:2003 certified procedures in an ISO 8 clean room injection molding facility. Our clean room houses various injection molding presses including a vertical/vertical and a new 90 Ton electric injection molding machine. We produce Class I, II & III medical devices such as medical device housings, surgical instruments, implantables, emergency room products, fluid delivery devices, fluid delivery containers, cardiac products, blood delivery housings, optical grade lenses and dental products.
