Equipped with a polypropylene housing, all three filters have a female luer lock inlet, a male luer slip outlet, and a 0.2 micron pore size. The Hydrophobic Filters are offered with a PTFE membrane and are available in 25 mm and 15 mm diameters and the Hydrophilic filter is available with a PES membrane and in a 25 mm diameter.

Made of polypropylene and medical grade silicone, the valves feature molded arrows to indicate the direction of flow. Designed to allow the flow of gases in only one direction, One Way Respiratory Valve #97351 offers flow from 22 mm ID Inlet to 22 mm OD Outlet (female to male), while #97352 provides flow from 22 mm OD Inlet to 22 mm ID Outlet (male to female). Qosina is pleased to introduce the addition of three new Hemostasis Valves with sideport tubing connection to a 3-way stopcock (Part #80451 (orange), #80452 (green) and #80453 (gray)). The Hemostasis valve features an automatic pre-slit seal, which eliminates the need for manual rotation, for items sized 0 FR - 8 FR (0 inch - 0.105 inch) (0 mm - 2.7 mm) in diameter. The valve also offers a rotating male luer lock with a vented female luer lock cap. The stopcock features 2 female luers, a tube connection and a male luer lock cap. Tubing 7.5 inches in length connects the valve and stopcock of these pre-assembled, non-sterile components.

All three feature a clear polycarbonate body that allows for fluid visualization, and a silicone valve that creates a seal to prevent backflow. Equipped with frosted webbing to enable easier air bubble identification, the valves have a rotating male luer to minimize tubing kinks, and a female luer sideport for flushing or checking pressure. Hemostasis Valve #80325 features a smaller cap with a low profile and #80326 has a larger cap for easy handling. Formed with a 3/8 inch seal, the pouches offer puncture protection and abrasion resistance. The Peelable Breathable Pouches (#91224 - 91227) are available in sizes ranging from 13 inch x 15 inch to 24 inch x 30 inch. The white side is made of uncoated medical-grade Tyvek and the clear side is made of PET and 2 mil LDPE. These pouches feature an easily accessible unprinted corner peel and are suitable for ETO, Gamma, and E-Beam sterilization. The Breathable Pouches with Header (#91228 – 91232) are available in sizes ranging from 10 inch x 15 inch to 19 inch x 30 inch, including the lip of the bag. Qosina is pleased to present the latest innovation in component technology, a One Handed Hemostasis Valve Y Connector (#80448) that allows independent manipulation of multiple guidewires. The genuine one hand control lever action allows for lock and release with light fingertip pressure for three positions; open, semi-open, and closed. A satisfyingly powerful ‘click’ clearly identifies the valve position by acoustic and tactile feedback enabling easy and efficient operation. The housing is made from high quality polycarbonate and polyoxymethylene, which has both high clarity and temperature resistance. The silicone valve fits 0 FR – 9 FR (0 inch-0.118 inch) (0 mm-3 mm) guidewires and aids in controlling backflow. The rotating male luer lock minimizes tubing kinks, while the female luer lock sideport provides the ability to flush out the line or check pressure. Wire Lock Adapters (#80449 and #80450) work in conjunction with this Hemostasis Valve for applications involving multiple guidewires. These adapters feature an integrated lock and release function, which enables independent wire manipulation by utilizing one or more adapters. Simply clip the adapter on the Hemostasis Valve and lock the wire into the adapter to hold it in position while inserting or using other wires.
Qosina recently added a Swabbable Needleless Injection Site #80189 to their line. Unlike other needleless sites that allow for bidirectional flow, this site incorporates a one way valve enabling this component to be used for injection only and will prevent retrograde flow. When the connection is removed, the valve will reseal against backflow even when used with viscous solutions. This injection site features a needleless female luer port to a male luer slip and is equipped with a luer activated valve that allows any standard male luer to open the connection. Composed of Polycarbonate, Silicone and Polyisoprene, the connector is made of biocompatible materials. All materials are latex-free, DEHP-Free and PVC-Free. By eliminating the use of sharp needles for accessing IV lines, the needleless connector is designed to prevent accidental needle sticks. It poses an economical alternative to other needleless sites and is available with a low minimum purchase requirement. The luer fittings are also compatible with the ISO 594 luer standards for both standard male luer and male luer slip fittings.
