$24M Project Aims to Stop Bioterrorism

Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center has taken on a $24 million project to develop a unique body on a chip system that could be used to prevent the fallout from bioterrorism.

Using a unique 3D printing method, researched have created a biological system that resembles the human body, which can be tested with an array of sensors when biological or chemical agents are added.
