The next staging of HOSPITALAR, 20th International Fair of Products, Equipment, Services and Technology for Hospitals, Laboratories, Pharmacies, Health Clinics and Medical Offices, will take place from May 21 - 24, 2013 at the Expo Center Norte in Sao Paulo, Brazil. At the largest and leading medical trade fair in Latin America, about 1,250 exhibitors from 34 nations will showcase their latest technologies and products to more than 90,000 visitors. The exhibits will be complemented by an extensive ancillary program consisting of congresses, seminars and workshops.
For HOSPITALAR 2013, Messe Düsseldorf North America (MDNA) will again organize a North American Pavilion. U.S. and Canadian companies are provided with a fully equipped, turn-key booth as well as the on-site service of MDNA staff, hostess and translator. All technical work, set up and dismantling is included.
Three thematically related trade fairs will be held concurrently within Hospitalar 2013: Diagnostica (clinical analysis and pathology), Hospfarma (products for hospital pharmacies and drugstores) and Hospitalar Digital Health (telemedicine and IT for healthcare).
HOSPITALAR 2013 will take place at an ideal place and time. Sao Paulo is Brazil’s largest and most important city, where 65% of the Brazilian consumption market concentrates. It also plays an important role in the healthcare industry, acting as a pioneering city in providing first-class medical services. Brazil is one of the largest economies in South America with the highest potential in the healthcare market - a sector worth R$ 340 billion (US$ 167 billion) a year. With the need for imported products continuing to be vital for the Brazilian healthcare sector, HOSPITALAR will provide a platform for international companies to access this lucrative market.
