The milestone system was installed at Mount Vernon Cancer Centre in the United Kingdom, the first hospital operated by the National Health Service (NHS) in the U.K. to acquire the CyberKnife device.
Accuray has made significant investment in the clinical and technology areas needed to support its high rate of growth. The total number of publications supporting CyberKnife System use increased from just over 50 publications in the beginning of 2002 to more than 430 publications currently.
