Psychiatric Solutions Inc. said one of its inpatient facilities in Philadelphia received a subpoena from the Department of Justice, according to a Securities and Exchange Commission filing on Monday.
In the filing, the company said it received the subpoena on Oct. 20. It did not disclose details of the request but said it intends to provide the documents sought.
Meanwhile, the company said it expects the sale to Universal Health Services for $3.1 billion to close in November.
In morning trading, shares of Psychiatric Solutions fell 11 cents to $33.57.
