Cambridge-based maker of robotic prosthetics iWalk Inc. has raised $15 million in a third round, according to officials. That brings the company’s fundraising total to $38.7 million since it was founded in 2006.
The $15 million funding came from new investor Sigma Partners, as well as existing backers General Catalyst Partners and New York-based WFD Ventures LLC. Sigma’s Paul Flanagan has joined the iWalk board, iWalk marketing manager Tabi King confirmed. The news was first reported in Scott Kirsner’s Innovation Economy blog.
