Amedisys has completed its buyout of Beacon Hospice Inc., the home health services provider said Wednesday.
Beacon, which has 24 locations in New England, posted revenue of $80 million last year. Amedisys said it closed the $125 million deal on Tuesday, although two Rhode Island state regulatory agencies have not yet given final approval.
Beacon Hospice has 11 locations in Massachusetts, five each in Maine and New Hampshire, two in Rhode Island, and one in Connecticut. Amedisys agreed to acquire the Boston-based company in April.
Shares of Amedisys Inc. slipped 77 cents, or 2.8 percent, to $26.77 in afternoon trading.
