The Massachusetts Biotechnology Education Foundation has received $150,000 from The Boston Foundation to enhance the connection between life sciences companies and local colleges and universities with the aim of creating more biotechnology training programs for students.

The two-year grant will go to the Massachusetts Life Science Education Consortium, which is composed of biotech industry representatives and those from higher education. The consortium is focused on workforce development by strengthening partnerships between life sciences companies and higher education institutions.
