ASG Medical Systems was founded in 1991 as Automation Services Group. Two pioneering products, the Accu-Cut Automated Tube Cutter and the Accu-Feed Automated Catheter and Guidewire Feeder, established the companys early role in catheter manufacturing. Since 2002, ASG Medical Systems has focused exclusively on the medical catheter space.
Technical Innovations was founded in 1993 and, through its cutting edge technology, has become the hole-making expert, offering high performance automated machinery and cutting tools for drilling, punching and skiving for catheter and surgical device applications.

On November 2, ASG Medical Systems and Technical Innovations unveiled Syneo for the first time at MD&M Minneapolis. MD&M Minneapolis is a regional UBM Canon medical device and manufacturing trade show. Kate Morrison, marketing strategist, says of the unveil, "The new Syneo brand reflects the innovative and quality-oriented personality of our products. We strived to convey this in our new booth design as well, and we were pleased by the response."
