Over the next three months, Seapine Software will be polling medical device developers for its 2013 State of Medical Device Development Survey. The online survey will establish industry benchmarks and identify the challenges facing the development of new healthcare technologies.

Seapine, a leading provider of process-centric product development solutions, is seeking the insights of professionals involved in the design, development and testing of medical devices.

“The 2013 State of Medical Device Development Survey is part of our commitment to ensuring quality while streamlining medical device development,” said Rick Riccetti, president and CEO of Seapine. “The knowledge we gain from the survey will be shared with all respondents, so they can compare their experiences with those of their peers.”

The survey focuses on quality, compliance and traceability. Respondents will be asked about topics such as risk analysis and mitigation, as well as the design control, quality control and compliance processes.

The survey closes at the end of August, and a complimentary copy of Seapine’s research report will be sent to all respondents by the end of September.

As an additional incentive, all respondents will be registered for a chance to win a new iPad Mini or one of two $100 Amazon gift cards.

Medical device development professionals can take the survey at through August 30.
