Dilon Technologies buys RMD Instruments Corp.’s Navigator line of gamma probes, expanding its imaging and diagnostics portfolio.
Dilon Technologies said it bought RMD Instruments Corp.’s Navigator gamma probe line.
Newport News, Va.-based Dilon Technologies works with imaging technology. Watertown, Mass.-based Radiation Monitoring Devices is a research devices subsidiary of Dynasil Corp. (NSDQ:DYSL), which focuses on radiation imaging and detection.
The Navigator gamma probe and instruments, designed to detect tumors, are used in a number of cancer-related surgeries including pulmonary wedge resection and sentinel lymph node biopsy. RMD launched the latest Navigator last year, with the added feature of wireless capabilities.
